Hello. I am Mario Cadorette, born in St-Hyacinthe in the agri-food capital of Quebec. Since my childhood I have always been aware that I am different. As a teenager, I knew I would live a different life. Yet I considered myself lucky. I was accepted by my family and never had a hard time living my life the way I want!
As for my professional background, I went to a culinary school, then later studied in rehabilitation of people with intellectual disability. A few years later, I became a real estate broker and since 2011, I have been part of the management team in retirement homes.
Today I live in the beautiful region of Lanaudière with my spouse. A few years ago, we bought a small farm in a small village of 1400 people, located in St-Alexis de Montcalm. We really enjoy the space and tranquility from our rural environment. My husband is a dog breeder for many years.
My involvement in Fierté Agricole? This is a cause that is dear to my heart and I hope that my commitment can help others to flourish and move forward in their daily lives without worrying about prejudices. We are all unique!
